A Christmas Story - progressing....

I love working with these lovely colours. The freezer paper method of needleturn applique is so much easier than the template method I used before (what was I thinking ?!). I'll be giving the angel some hair, feet and her hat today and then start embroidering.And here are the embroidery threads that are used with this pattern..... Gorgeous, luscious colours, aren't they? The photo doesn't do them justice.
