"on my night table..."
my little item in the sidebar makes it look as if there are only one or two books on my night-table.... this might be true, but lately my collection of "to read" books has grown to the extent of no longer fitting on the nighttable, and I had to move them to the top of the dresser. This picture does not include the ones waiting for me in the bookshop that I have ordered in......

That's funny. I keep my "to read" list in my head and of course keep forgetting what it was again that I wanted to read. But I do always have a book that I'm working on. By the way, did you read "the year of the hare" yet? How did you like it? How about a review on your blog ;-)

ReplyDeleteDo you read them all at the same time? I have a neice who reads at least four books at a time. She reads whatever she is in the mood for that day. I could never keep up with that many books.
oh that looks like a delicious selection of literature. Just like having a box of chocolates ready to eat...
ReplyDeleteI usually read only one at a time. I am strictly monogamous :) (albeit a serial monogamist...)
ReplyDeleteMy nightstand gets like that sometimes, but I'm always trying to read two or three at once which is never a good idea. I've just finished "Year of Wonders" so that can get moved off now!
ReplyDeleteoooow they look so good huh...and yes its a problem...and just when you thought you had steered clear of local bookshos for a time they send you the catalogue for BYU bookstore!!!

Yes! Mine is like that, too. The pile gets totally out of control. One of the best parts about a few days out of town was that I cruised through two books very quickly. I read every chance I get - which isn't often enough in my regular day to day life.
