Too much Enid Blyton?

Our little Possum was instructing me on the right way to make us a fizzy ginger drink using ginger cordial and soda water. She then urged me to have a taste saying "it'll taste splendid, mummy!" . I was trying to work out where she'd picked that up, but Peter had the answer. It is all down to Enid Blyton. We have been reading "The Enchanted Forest"and its sequels to her at bedtime for the last few months. Splendid, indeed!
